🌍 Forbes 2024 Billionaires List Analysis 🌍Recently, I grew curious about the global wealth landscape in 2024, so I conducted an analysis using the Forbes 2024 Billionaires dataset. Here are my findings.💰 Total Net Worth: $8.90 trillion spread across 661 billionaires!🏢 Top Industries by Net Worth: Technology leads with $2.05 trillion, followed by Finance & Investments at $1.44 trillion, and Fashion & Retail at $1.39 trillion.📊 Top Industries by Number of Billionaires: Finance & Investments tops the list with 148 billionaires, while Technology follows closely with 121.🌎 Top Countries by Billionaires: The United States is home to the most billionaires (327), with China (49) and Russia (27) trailing behind. This suggests that the American approach to fostering a productivity mindset among their citizens is worth studying👥 Gender Distribution: 86.7% of the billionaires on the dataset analyzed are male (573), with females making up 13.3% (88).💼 Self-Made Status: 70.95% of billionaires are self-made, demonstrating that it's possible to start from scratch and achieve great success through innovation and entrepreneurship.🎓 Education: Contrary to the misconception that most billionaires are dropouts, this analysis shows that 70% of the 661 billionaires (465 individuals) have a formal education, while only 6.1% (41 individuals) lack formal education. Hence, do not undermine the power of formal education.👴 Age Distribution: The majority of billionaires fall between the ages of 60-69 (176) and 70-79 (160). This means there is a strong connection between financial dominion and years of experience. As you build your career at a young age, be very ambitious, but avoid placing undue pressure on yourself. What are your thoughts?#Forbes2024 #BillionairesList #WealthAnalysis #IndustryLeaders #GlobalEconomy #Entrepreneurship #Innovation #dataanalytics #analytics #business #finance

Which Country Holds the Most Billionaires in 2024?Throughout history, we've witnessed the rise of individuals with extraordinary wealth, from ancient emperors to modern magnates like John D. Rockefeller, the first billionaire in measurable dollars. But where do the world's wealthiest individuals currently reside?🔍 Let's take a look at the countries boasting the highest number of billionaires in 2024, as per the esteemed Hurun Global Rich List. Keep in mind, however, that estimating total wealth is no easy feat, and figures may vary across different sources. Forbes, for instance, swaps ranks for the U.S. and China, although the top three overall remain consistent.Forbes currently recognizes Bernard Arnault as the wealthiest individual, while Hurun places Elon Musk at the helm. Nevertheless, their top 10 aligns closely, with a few ranking disparities.📊 Ranked: Countries with the Most Billionaires in 2024 1. 🇨🇳 China: 814 billionaires (-16% YoY)2. 🇺🇸 U.S.: 800 billionaires (+15.8% YoY)3. 🇮🇳 India: 271 billionaires (+44.9% YoY)4. 🇬🇧 UK: 146 billionaires (+8.9% YoY)5. 🇩🇪 Germany: 140 billionaires (-2.8% YoY)6. 🇨🇭 Switzerland: 106 billionaires (+6% YoY)7. 🇷🇺 Russia: 76 billionaires (+8.6% YoY)8. 🇮🇹 Italy: 69 billionaires (+18.9% YoY)9. 🇫🇷 France: 68 billionaires (-5.6% YoY)10. 🇧🇷 Brazil: 64 billionaires (+25% YoY)11. 🇨🇦 Canada: 53 billionaires (+17.8% YoY)12. 🇹🇭 Thailand: 49 billionaires (+6.5% YoY)13. 🇮🇩 Indonesia: 47 billionaires (+34.3% YoY)14. 🇦🇺 Australia: 45 billionaires (0% YoY)15. 🇯🇵 Japan: 44 billionaires (+37.5% YoY)16. 🇸🇬 Singapore: 42 billionaires (+13.5% YoY)17. 🇰🇷 South Korea: 37 billionaires (+12.1% YoY)18. 🇮🇱 Israel: 29 billionaires (+45% YoY)19. 🇪🇸 Spain: 27 billionaires (+3.8% YoY)20. 🇸🇪 Sweden: 25 billionaires (-7.4% YoY)🌍 Other: 327 billionairesTogether, the U.S. and China account for nearly half of the 3,279 billionaires globally, far surpassing their closest peers, India (8.3% of global billionaires) and the UK (4.4% of global billionaires).🌍 Despite this dominance, European countries collectively occupy six of the top 10 and eight of the top 20 spots for the most billionaires.Naturally, the world's largest economies tend to host a disproportionate number of billionaires, as they offer abundant opportunities for wealth accumulation. However, outliers like Switzerland, Singapore, and Sweden challenge this notion. While not among the top 20 economies by GDP, these countries excel in fostering wealth despite perceived high tax rates. For instance, Sweden boasts no inheritance tax, a flat rate on capital gains, and a corporate tax rate of just 21%.If you're intrigued by this data visualization, make sure to follow Shehzad Dhedhi on LinkedIn for more insights!📌 Source: Hurun Global Rich List
